ENVIRONMENT
Among the basic objectives of the energy policy of Hijos de Cipriano Castelló Alfonso, S. L., is the reduction of energy consumption.
By introducing more efficient technologies, the reduction of the environmental impact is achieved and the company’s competitiveness is improved.
El Molino has been participating for years in Energy Savings and Efficiency Programs in The Industry, promoted by IVACE (Valencian Generalitat).
In El Molino it has the DAP (Environmental Product Declaration) certification, which verifies that our ceramic product has a lower environmental impact than other materials on the market, is a sustainable and durable material over the years.
E4IN12/2014/69: REPLACEMENT OF 192 BURNERS IN SACMI OVEN (N.3) BY SACMI BURNERS MODEL PLS MGP
Project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), within the operational program of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.
The project calls for the replacement of the 192 Sacmi ovens n.3 with efficient Sacmi PLS burners.
Following the installation of the new burners and the regulation of air/gas by burner, it has been achieved to reduce the consumption of gas in the equipment and therefore gas emissions into the atmosphere.
The % of savings obtained in gas with burners and regulations made is 2.7%.
E4IN12/2015/1: REPLACEMENT OF ROTARY MACHINE BY INJECTION MACHINE K700 IN ENAMEL LINE 2 OF THE NEW AREA
Project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the operational program of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.
The project calls for the installation of a digital printing machine for the enamel line No. 2 in the new area, replacing rotary machines.
After the installation of the injection machine in the enamel line 2, the weight of the cake has been reduced in most formats, achieving energy savings in cooking and drying processes. In addition, the break times of the line are reduced, and therefore nonproductive consumptions. The energy cost reduction is around 3%.
E4IN12/2016/85: REPLACEMENT OF ROTARY MACHINES WITH 2 K700 INJECTION MACHINES IN ENAMEL LINES, 1 OF THE OLD ZONE AND 1 IN LINE 5 OF THE NEW AREA
Project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the operational program of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.
The project calls for the installation of two digital printing machines for the no.1 enamel lines of the old area and No.5 in the new area, replacing rotating machines.
After the installation of these injection machines in the enamel lines, the weight of the cake has been reduced in most formats, achieving energy savings in cooking and drying processes. In addition, the break times of the lines are reduced, and therefore nonproductive consumptions. The energy cost reduction is around 5%.
